This sound bath meditation was inspired by a visit to the giant Redwoods in the Otway National Park. As I slowly walked between these incredible trees, their fallen foliage beneath my feet as soft as carpet, I could hear them humming a low C note. I felt calm in their presence, I felt grounded. They reminded me of the strength of my roots, presence and inner knowing.

When you listen to this sound medicine, lie down with headphones on. You can choose to place your dominant hand on your base chakra and image a glowing red light circling clockwise beneath your hand. Breathe deeply into your belly and try to get that beautiful oxygen to reach the base chakra. You can also choose to sing or hum along with my voice as you get to know the music. This will connect you to the sound of your soul and ground you even further, connecting your roots with your expression of who you are.
